Default High mileage 5.4

It's been forever since I've been in here guys but I'm selling the powerstroke and was thinking about getting another f150, just wondering how many of you would jump on an 04' lariat with 160,000 miles. The owner says they were "easy" miles but who knows, one of the biggest reasons I got rid of mine was because it was using up oil between oil changes like no other and it only had 110,000 miles, appreciate any input

unno man i hear the 04's have wayyy too many problems. and it has 160,000 miles on it.. kinda scetchy. I'd say if you only plan on having it for 30k - 40k miles then fine. OR if you're either getting a great deal on it or plan on flipping it for more money then do it. but if you plan on having it for awhile id say pass

I have 258,000 miles on my 04 lariat 4x4 with only 1 problem ever- rebuilt transmission at around 200,000 miles. Other than that I have only replaced oil, tires, and gas. GREAT truck.

Think of how many miles you drive per year and how long youd need to finance it.

Personally I wouldnt finance a truck with that many miles on it. I drive 17k or more a year so in a little over 2 years that truck would have 200k on it and Id still be paying for it. A 200k mile truck is like a time bomb. You never know when its gonna blow up.

I'd pass. The 04 5.4s have to many problens. I'd stick to the powerstroke.
