Default High idle at startup

my 2005 5.4 f-150 idles up to about 1200 when first started up if its been sitting for a while, while idling high it its kinda rough running, then it idles down after 10 to 15 seconds and runs fine. No codes come up.

Every vehicle made does that. It is programmed to get the vehicle to operating temperature as quickly as possible, but for most of us who just get it, slam it in to gear and go, it does no good. People need to wait about ten to twenty seconds before they take off so the oil can get circulating and warmed up at least a little. Not sure why it is running rough, but the high idle is supposed to happen.
