I would bet on a bad MFS. I had a similar problem on my Nissan beater truck. However I experienced loss of turn signals as well. Totally different vehicles I know but the switch would be my guess.

It turns out my scenario was exactly the same as yours. I metered the resistance of the high beam bulb filaments and they were fine. Next, I measured voltage at the high beam wires at the lamp housing and 0 volts with the high beam indicator/ignition on. I went to the interior fuse panel and found the 20A high beam fuse was not pushed in all the way. I now have working high beams. Hope this helps. Cheers.

My 08 4.6 just started doing this tonight however when my fogs are on the hi beam light on the dash is on as well i have the dash light but no hi beams. Bad MFS? Or bad headlight switch maybe? What do yall think
