i've wanted one for awhile.you make all sorts of friends when you have a winch. a good rule of thumb is to select a winch with at least 1.5 times the weight of your truck and accessories. so a 9000 should be fine for most duties.

If it isn't enough just run a ****** block and you get twice the pulling power.

good reminder, i forgot about that one. 2x the power and 1/2 the speed. if your stuck any speed is better than none.

I run a Warn 9500XP on my Xterra for when I go play in the woods. It has a synthetic line on it with a built in Tree Saver. It pulls a lot. I pulled a Loaded 26ft Uhaul out of the mud. It was buried to the rear axle. So you would be amazed what a 9000 will do. I used a straight pull by the way. either way you will have a great time with a winch. I also used mine to do some Landscaping around my house.

Want to talk about getting to a cold beer quicker!!! Just use your winch to get those unsightly trees and bushs out of the yard. Plus you do not sweat that much.
