Default HID retrofit
has anyone done it?

these stock 'reflectors' glare like a sob with my plug and plays.

Search YouTube for "HID Retrofit." There is a 3 or 4 part series on how to retrofit projectors into factory housings. Once my buddy gets new lights for his Passat, I'm going to try using those projectors on mine.
