HID Issues
Hey guys.....this may have been covered before. I did a search and found 3000 HID threads and did not find this specific issue.
Just got my HID's in the mail today. Decided to go with the non bi-xenon kit (single beam). Well, got the fogs installed just like all the others I have done on my cars. Got to the Headlight and WTF.........connections don't match up.
What am I to do? Cut and splice, or is there a harness to adapt the single beam HID?

Harness should not have to be cut and spliced in a plug and play kit. I would check the label on the box to make sure that they sent you the right kit. If the label is correct, I would send that kit back to the person you bought it from in exchange for another of the same.

Doesn't seem to be a "plug-and-play". Just the same old ballast I have used in most of my cars the past few years. Looks like I may just experiment cutting some stuff tomorrow.

Well then I shall ask for pics... Lets see your headlight connector and the ballast connections (both of them- to the bulb and to the car's harness). These kits really should just be a matter of swapping plugs.

I would highly discourage you from 'splicing' any wires with an HID kit... I would send it back and get the correct kit. Mine were the easiest thing in the world to install with the plug-and-play.

It's worth another week or two to get the right kit.
For the record, my ebay HID kit was indeed an easy plug and play installation.
