HID issue

In your manual look up the keyless entry and there is a process to turn off the auto illumination. I cannot get it to work, but am going to have a guy at Ford do it for me and hopefully it will work. That will help with that issue because you d onot want your HID's on when you start the truck.
i know about shutting the auto headlights off, but thats the thing, I want them. Can i make it work with auto headlights?

im going to head out and perform the bambi mod.
i installed the HID relay so its connected to the battery and uses the headlight harness as a trigger for the HIDs. its the actual relay kit for this purpose and everything works great. HOWEVER, when I unlock my truck, the headlights are auto on, when I go to start the truck, the one side just shuts off, so I have to switch the headlights off and then on again. any ideas?

did the bambi mod and it took care of the fog lights/high beam indicator issue.
now i noticed a weird thing... when the headlight switch is "on", the radio's reception is shot to hell. When i switch it to the other three positions (fog, off, auto), the radio is fine. what the heck?
