Hesitation while accelerating After new AC installed
This is on my 2004 Ford f150 5.4 truck.
The AC hasnt worked for a long time, and its been 103+ degrees here lately, and i just couldn't take it anymore. I took it to a mechanic and they replaced the entire AC system from radiator to condenser, to dyer, all pipes etc.
On my drive home after getting all this fixed, i noticed a few times as i push on the pedal you could hear the engine ramming but the truck wasn't accelerating.
It didn't do this every time, but a few times.
The mechanic is about 50+ miles away and i already spent hours upon hours in their lobby waiting on them to fix the AC (originally told me it'd be 2 hours, ended up being over 10 hours), and i really don't want to go back.
Is there something i could check that maybe that bumped or hit that needs to be reset?
As most people know, you pretty much have to remove alot of stuff from the engine including air system to get to the AC parts especially the condenser. Maybe they didn't connect something back.
I did a quick look, but i didn't see anything out of place.
thanks
