I had my cam phasers replaced about four months ago. Is there anything that could've been done that started causing this problem?

I did +8 on 3rd and 4th. For the lock, and +6 for the unlock. There is a good edge tuning thread on here somewhere.

4 lock: +10
1 unlock: No change

With this set up I can go down the interstate (75 - 80 mph) with moderate hills and it no longer struggles. It just unlocks right away when the accel is touched and you continue perfectly. Night and day from how it would just crap out and bogg to 65mph before 1400rpm finally came around.

I didn't change any shift points or WOT settings, because these weren't my issue. But, for performance it's better to have it shift after your "peak power band" (2500-3500 rpm)...
Here is what i used for a guide. Im still waiting on my custom tune from PHP but for now ive just been playing around with the lock settings.
I started out with what the user has above and went from there. My bog down is virtually gone, but im still having idle issues when running the AC and or Heat.

Thanks, I'm going to give this a try.

Tried that too. Helped in the street but made the freeway horrible! You shouldn't have to tune your truck to make it progress through the rpm band lol.

I think that a lot of you guys have a different issue then the original poster and I have, I wish I could take you guys for a ride. You would freak!

Still trying to get to ford, money is a tad tight so it looks like I live with this issue for another 2 weeks.

I took it into Ford today and they, once again, couldn't find anything...One guy tried to tell me that since the PCM had been updated, that the bogging down issue might be induced because the truck is "re-learning" itself. Doesn't make much that a "brand new, updated" computer would have issues...I wouldn't buy a brand new truck with this problem...

I am going to take it to a few other shops tomorrow and see what they recommend or can guess at..

I wonder if doing a full transmission oil change (i.e through the trans coolant lines) would fix the situation? I've thought about it for my truck, but dropped the idea thinking it was the VCT solenoid. Now that you mention the TC, wonder if it's that afterall.
