There was a post some time ago about the gas pedal trick... Personally, I saw no difference. Then again I wasn't having issues to begin with, the truck is just tired (180,000mi)

Check all the connections for you injectors. They are greenish/grey. One of my wasn't seated all the way properly although it seemed like it was but it didn't click onto the injector.

I agree with Tavman, I'd check the VCT's if you've already eliminated all that other stuff

So to keep you all updated while waiting for my VCT solenoids to come from tasca ford I decided it was time to change my loud injectors! After changing them I came up with the code P2198 O2 sensor rich/stuck!! After doing some research alot of other owners have had this problem and their fix was cam phasers and VCT solenoids!! So I will updated you guys again when I get my VCT solenoids in!!

Thanks-

I had a another thought that maybe the Cats and O2 sensors where shot. I have removed the aft two cats and had a slight exhaust leak, after installing headers, at the head. Drove quite a while with the leak...anyone think that the O2's and Cats could be burnt/clogged?

Yeah I did and when it back into the dealership, I had them do that trick also. The tech told me "that was just a reset for the MAF, throttle position memory, etc etc..basically erases the driving habit memory that the truck learns..."

do you have any after market exhaust stuff on your truck? I've got headers and deleted the aft two cats, I also had an exhaust leak on the right side at the head for about 6 months. Every once in a while I get a CEL with the Right Bank lean, I am going to have the truck taken in to check the O2 sensors and cats. I have a feeling that I will we replacing some sensors and cats...

Mine bogs whenever i have the heat or AC on. Also when either is on and i sit at a stop sign it idle's weird, not rough but a vibration that can be felt in the steering, seat and floor. If i turn off the AC or Heat it goes away. Have you tried that?
