Seems to be OK stuff, if you use it I would place a rubber mat on the truck bed also.

From what I've read up on it, it seems that if there's quite a bit of prep work, but all in all it works pretty good. Most advice I have seen has recommended putting on a 2nd, and maybe even a 3rd and 4th coat for best results. Sounds like an all weekend project to me, so far. I know my brother used it on his four wheeler racks, and it turned out awesome!!

Mainly washing the bed down really good, drying, and then scuffing the paint surface that you're going to cover. Then it recommends to rub it down with grease and wax remover or lacquer reducer.

Yeah, it can be painted overtop after it cures. It also says that it comes in black, red, and grey, I think, but black is the cheapest.

sweeeeet. it just rolls on with a paint roller? i wonder how much weight it adds to the back of the truck ( good thing up here with the icy roads).

i used the dupicolor DIY bedliner. im pretty happy with it so far (about 9 months) i work full time construction during the summer and it held together pretty good. you can buy it in a spray can to do any touch up work if some chips off. it was not that much work took me a few hours but you have to do a good prep job. Lovethetides idea of a rubber mat is also good if you put gravel or firewood in the back. but with lumber, tools, metal its fine how it is. i did 3 coats on the side and i think 6 on the bottom costed about $110. if i can find the picture i took of it ill post it. good luck
