Helper springs/airbags
#11
Hey there...overdue update. I put the Firestone air bags in and they did great for hauling that truck camper on the 7000 miles trip cross country and back. No complaints here at all.

NC to CA and back. Stayed in Campgrounds everynight. Our stops where we actually wentsight seeing were: Colorado Springs, CO (was stationed at Fort Carson in the 80's) then to Royal Gorge CO hghest suspension bridge, Las Vegas and Hoover Dam, Camp Pendleton, CA (beachfront camping, and got an exhaust manifold gasket done under warranty. A big thumbs up to the folks at Capistrano Ford who arranged my repair with Santa Margherita Ford, I did not get thrown of schedule at all. They were awesome. Especially the assistant service manager at Santa Magherita "she's a BABE" ), after that off to Grand Canyon,, Four Corners and Monument, back to CO and see cliffs at Mesa Verde, Memphis and Graceland, Asheville, NC, then home.
Great trip, 3 weeks

I don't know how your transmission hasn't exploded yet but it is going to soon if you keep towing that boat. Just because your truck doesn't sag because of the AAL doesn't mean that much weight is good for your axle. Plus I guarantee you that truck goes 0-60 in like 10 minutes with that thing behind it.
