HELP! Windows ad Radio are dead
I have on 07 Lariat Scab. I was having an issue with Fuse 24 blowing. That is the "Battery Saver for demand lamps" When it would blow it would take out my fuel gauge, and Visor lamps and cause the overhead lights to not work in delay mode. However they did work whe you would open and close the doors. I think that I have tracd that down to a bad Homelink module, or at least I thought. I disconnected the driver's visor, replaced fuse 24 and everything works...... Well, until I went to put the windows up. Now my power window are dead as is the Radio. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine. Every other feature works but those two.
Any ideas????
TIA,
Mark

According to the owners manual, the radio is powered off of fuse 31. The power windows are powered from relay 401. Assuming you do not have an owners manual, here is a picture laying out the fuse and relay locations:

As expressed before, all fuses are good. I am thinking that it might be from the accessory bus, but have no way to check it without a wiring diagram. I put a meter across the 30A Circuit Breaker, Relay 401, and had no voltage with the key turned to the on position engine running.

I do not have my Ford Schematic book with me (I have a 2005 copy, but I doubt this circuit changed). I'll have a look at what "feeds" this relay and get back to this post.

Alright....after checking my 2005 Ford schematic book, it shows that relay 401 is fed from the "accessory delay relay" (relay number R02) pin 87. There's a "hot at all times" lead that feeds relay R02 at pin 30 and 86.
Based on all your symtoms, I'd replace this relay. You can test it by swapping it with relay R03, which is the high beam relay (right next to it) Leave relay R01 alone, as that is your starter relay. They all should be the same relays.
Check that a previous owner (or yourself) did not tap into any lead of these relays, causing them to not operate.
Let us know.

This is the exact problem my 2003 SuperCab is having. The ADR inside the cab was tapped into at one time. Now I'm having weird issues with my Radio and Power Windows. Wiggling the ADR and/or repeatedly removing and reinsterting it eventually gets things to work properly. Then it just quits sporadically. I'm not sure what to replace.
