Wonder if this is my problem? 1st pic is of bushings that were in item description picture. See how they have the ribs/notches? 2nd pic is the style I received. I wonder if the ones I got were too small? Bad kit packaging?

Default You should give them back to ray .

Only way they will ever fix this for some other op . Moog is usually the way to go . That was not a good response for them to give .

With the Moog link pictured, does the nut against/next to the lower bushing come off, or does it rest against the lower control arm?

Bringing this back to life. The Raybestos have developed a clunk now, even though I added washers. Time to go with a no-kidding performer. OEM, Moog or TRW? Either at the best price?

I ended up swapping my AC Delco for Moog and am very happy I did. They installed very easy due to how the built in nuts are.

I've had moog problem solvers up front for a few years now. They're tight, no clunks, no issues.

They have different part numbers for 2wd and 4wd. Make sure you get the right ones.

Can you look up at my post on 6/26 and tell me if the question I'm asking about the nut is related to what you're saying about the nut? I don't quite follow. Thanks

It does not come off, nut sits on top side of the LCA the stud goes through hole and another nut goes on bottom side of LCA when installing. I would have like more surface area contacting my LCA, but that is how they designed it unfortunately.

^^^Correct. But much easier than a allen wrench and 8 mm wrench/socket.

Agreed. That nut alone contacting the LCA seems a little strange. My crappy Raybestos units didn't have that nut. They rested on a large, flat disk.
