Morning Folks,

I got Vista on my new computer. I approached it with an open mind and so far, I don't mind it.

I got a 22.9" widescreen HD monitor.

But Vista is tempermental. Just like XP was when it first came out. When XP came out, everyone said it was a memory hog. So don't put XP on a 386 computer. Duh...

My new computer has 3 gig RAM with AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 5200. Kicks Vista's butt!

I know that paint isn't the most versital program, but when you have your pics open with Window Photo Gallery, look to the far upper right and you will have Open with a pull down menu. Goto paint. It will open that program.

In Paint, goto Image, and select Resize/Skew. Resize the Horizontal to 25% and the Vertical to 25% and save it as a different named file. I typically put an R on the front of the name, so that I know it means (R)esized.

But I must admit, I do enjoy watching the Mac/PC commercials on TV.

Mitch
