Help picking out wheels and tires!!
Hey guys, I have a 2006 f150 2wd (white) with a 3inch Hell Bent Steel Leveling Kit. I was wondering the best tire and wheel set up, I has thinking about going with either Fuel Hostages or Octanes but don't really know the offset to get (new in the wheel game) and I was also thinking about getting 33" tires, just don't know what kind to get either AT or MT. So any opinions or comments would really help! Thanks!!

i have had a few different ones...
toyo open country mt's wear great but they are quite agressive and at very low speeds you can feel them on the road. low noise.
goodyear duratrac. seem to wear pretty well, no road noise and can't feel them on the road
dirk cepek fun country at's. a little road noise. wore ok, terrible tread compound in cold contitions. they would turn into rocks and i have no traction.
bf goodrich at's didn't like the wear but the rest was good.
super swampers (on a jeep) can't remember which one but i only got maybe 1.5 seasons on them and they were worn out. lots of road noise.

how are those nittos? i see them a lot (so much so that discount tire tired to talk me into them instead of the toyos but that maybe because they had them instock and had to order the toyos) here in south texas but only know one guy with them and he just got them.

They are great... Pretty heavy.. Got about 36,000 miles on them and will definitely get 55-65K out of them... Rides pretty smooth but i've only had the Kumho AT's and these.. Of course the AT's were better.. The rubber compound is soft and what i noticed is when it's cold out they would be hard and stiff and you'd have a bumpy ride until they warm up... Mud... No complaints in that department.. Other than that... I'm happy
