Default Help! No control!

I have a 05 xlt and I can't get the defrost to work I put the switch on defrost and it blows out of the vents, put it on cent and floor mode and it blows on the floor, defrost and floor just comes thru the vents, I could use help on this one, the heat works great just can't control where it goes.

Mine has been that way for a while too. Seems like it can only be the control module or the door in the duct is stuck. I plan to purchase a used control module and see if that works. Since yours is at least moving to two different locations I'd say the module is likely the culprit. Good news is they're a piece of cake to replace.

Not to be rude but blend door is what blends the hot cold, has nothing to do with the modes, it turned out to be a piece of foam lodged In the mode door assembly.

Yea, that's a known problem. The glue gets hot and looses its adhesion and falls in the way of the door.
