i have an 08 with a 5.4. before i had cut the stock muffler off and welded a flowmaster 40 series in its place and everything sounded good. decided i wanted a little more rumble so i bought a flowmaster super 10 with dual out and had a local shop put some new tailpipes on for me. so now everything sounds great except at 4000+ rpm the new setup has a whining squealing almost like bad pads/rotors but extremely loud and obnoxious. i have always used flowmaster mufflers and had the exact same one on my 03 just out the side not the back with no issues. does anybody have any idea what the this noise is? i haven't went back to the shop yet just looking for some info so i dont make myself look like an idiot.

I would crawl under and look at the welds real good if you haven't already. Sounds like air is getting in or out somewhere but I'm no expert
