Default Help, need thoughts.

My truck went in for repair last June. Had a timing chain tensioner go bad. On the left side. tore up the guides. I replaced Tensioners, Guides and Phasers. Just weeks ago went back in due to a bad noise on the left side. Tore it all apart to find nothing with what had been replaced. Seems that an oil port may be plugged causing lack of oil to the front of the head making a camshaft bearing rattle something terrible. Ford suggests a new head. The truck has 63000miles on it. My fear is if I put a new head in will something else happen later on causing me to put more money into the truck or do I say screw it and go with a new motor. Getting rid of the truck is not an option.

Really? Complaining that on a Sunday morning no one responded after 2 hours and 49 minutes?

Arrrgh! Just had the first sip of my coffee... Let's see what seems to be the problem here?

You've got a rattle coming from the head??
Is it a tick, knock, clack, or a rattle?

Have the VCT solenoids been updated to the latest revision?
Are you getting any codes?
What brand phasers were installed during the repair? Dorman?
