read this thread https://www.f150forum.com/f4/possibly-fuel-pump-46197/

you could have the same problem i did, the fuel pump module went bad, it is mounted on the frame crossmember right near the spare tire.

cost me $150 for the part

anyway its something to check out

i am guessing its fuel pump module as well, they are very common failure my ford dealer told me

the modules will work sometime and not work sometimes as well

mine had problems for 3 days before it finally quit and the truck would not start again, in the 2 days before it would sometimes quit while driving, and then restart

the funny part is that the sending unit has been replaced the first time it got vandalized and it was just replaced 2 weeks ago. maybe it was a defect. i have the kind of luck or im wondering if a jeleous kid that works at the body shop decided to cut wires or something because they drove it around the nite before amd they said it ran great and it was completely fine and then out of no where the truck randomly doesnt start the next morning. i dont know whats up but i just find it weird cause everything is brand new on the truck relating to the fuel system.

so today i called my dealership and they ran a diagnostics test on it and it kept pointing to my aftermarket security/remote start. they disconnected it so the computer didnt know it was there. the aalarm threw check engine codes and they cleared them. they went to srat it and still no start, all it does is turn over. they are wondering if the pcm went bad or needs reflashed. any ideas?

if you have a remote start you have a PATS (passive anti theft system) bypass, i believe thats what it stands for, anyways, it will let the engine turn over but not start, look at the light on your dash, the little red one, if it blink fast it means the PATS system is activated and wont let the truck start, for you to have a auto start you have to have a bypass so the truck can start without a key in it, where the PATS gets its go or no go read from, i would beat money thats your problem, try a new bypass or remove the system and see if it will start

Wild shot in the dark but did you check the fuel rest module. Dealer might have disabled it to run out the pressure in the fuel line prier to changing out the fuel parts.
I only suggest it because I had the dealer do my plugs and tune up and they for some reason needed to disable the fuel rest to do something and then never rest it. They were able to pull the truck out the bay, move it to the back of the lot and parked it. I showed up to pick it up and it wouldn't start. Turn out after scanning the computer all evening and finding nothing that the tech disabled the switch.
