my truck has recently been vandalized and the ford people fixed it and it ran. it had sugar in fuel tank. the truck ran and they drove it to the paint shop and interior shop and today they went to deliver it back to me and it wouldnt start but it turned over. i went to the dealership and kept cranking it and it doesnt even seem like it wants to start but it turns over just fine. it has gas and everything. what could be wrong. please help someone!!!

Sounds like you're not getting fuel in the cylinders. What all did they fix?

Could be the injectors, the fuel pump ...

it has happened before about 3 months ago and they replaced all 8 injectors, fuel pump, fuel line, fuel filter, and sending unit. i dont get why it ran great and then when they started it this morning it wouldnt even fire. it has a half tank of gas..idk what to do

would a fuse be possibly the answer if it was blown? idk if that would be an answer im just pissed

dont forget about your sparkplugs. the sugar could have fouled your plugs you have everything else you need so it has to be your plugs not igniting any fuel.

Check fuse 9 and the fuel pump relay in the central junction box.

i hope thats it. could it be a blown motor?

I doubt it's a blown motor. If it is, that body shop owes you a new one.

i have the same issue in my 04 with the 5.4... at random it'll just crank over with no fire... it has me totally confused and i have no idea what the problem is or even could be... its done it 3 times since i bought it in december and everytime after sitting for a while and trying over and over again eventually it'll fire sometimes a couple hours later and other times 5 minutes... if any one has ideas that'd be great to get narrowed down

i hope not cause my insurence company is pissed and they wont pay for anything else on it. so im stuck with a truck with no motor if thats the situation. idk why it would run and then just suddenly not start. i think its a fuse cause why would all 8 plugs faul all at the same time.
