Checked out both kits.Never heard of either names in the leveling game and i have been installing leveling kits for years from everything from ford, chevy to yota's on the side for extra money.I also concur with Keebler, billet aluminum is junk and not any good and not ever powder coated. You need a leveling kit that is powder coated.

69.00$ shipped and thats for your 2wd. You wont regret going with them.Just go with the 2.5 leveling kit thoe.I went with auto springs on mine cause it was a free to me,but was looking at HBS when i got mine free.

Here are some pics of the suspension of the 3" HBS kit on a 05 2wd.

Mine sits pretty level, but I have herd that 04-06 trucks sit higher in the back than 07-08. Thats why I went with a 3" indtead of a 2.5".

^^^^Looks good man.Yours came out pretty level.I have noticed that also from the 04-06's and the levelings kits i install does seem to sit higher than the 07-08's kits i install also.

Well if you cant afford bigger tires right now,go on craigs list and look for ford allow rims, say off of a fx4/lariet.Will make your truck look even better.I was never a fan of the chrome ones you have on yours.I have found some fx4 rims, all 4 in the 250-300 range and going to get them next week. With either of those(fx4/lariat)rims,your truck and the leveling kit would look bad *** till you can get bigger tires

Default 3" HBS leveling kit

I have an '06 4x4, and went with the 3" kit. I had it installed at a shop, so I don't know the details of the installation. Every now and then (mostly off road or over harsh speed bumps) there is a little contact with the suspension components, but nothing to threaten the integrity of the system. It still sits a little bit lower in the front when empty, but I tow a trailer most days and/or have heavy loads often, so it sits nicely - I'll get a picture with my trailer when I can. For the tires, I was searching on craigslist for over a month and finally came upon these beauties that I ended up paying $550 for on rims. Unfortunately, they were eight lug, so I had them mounted on my stock rims, which I like the look of anyway. Good luck man

Hi guys I have an 06 2wd. I am also thinking of the hellbent 2.5" but in the description they say you must have the truck aligned to reach the full lift. So I called a few places down here about aligning the truck after I install them and they told me all they can really do is align the steering wheel since my truck does not have steering cams??? Any opinions?

You will have to use a big pry to get the bottom strut in place. When it is all installed, the suspension will be completely extended and tight. When you put the tires on and place the weight of the vehicle on the suspension, it goes back where it should be.

If the shop you're calling doesn't know how to do an alignment on your truck, then its time to find a new shop. Like right away.
