Help! Key won't come out of ignition.
So I just installed my edge evo...fired up the truck...and when I turned the truck off and went to take the key out I can't...and the key alarm is dinging like nobody's business. I can still start the truck and the vat light is blinking like normal...what happend?! 04 F150 XLT

I'm not trying to be a smartass or nothing here but have you tried turning the key back past the off position and then pulling it out? My f-250 I use to own did this all the time and I would have to turn it past off position about a quarter turn and then it would release.

I feel very stupid. Sure enough, when I put my truck in park today I did not put it in park fully. It just appeared like it. Pulled the keys right out after re-parking it. Thank you so much guys. I was pretty scared for a moment.
