Comes with new oil pan. Water pump, oil pump. Only other purchases you would have to do is some gaskets. They also take the intake and exhaust manifolds off old engine and put on new one. (I'm buying new exhaust manifolds to save from future headaches and maybe a new intake so that everything is new.) Engine also comes with a new flywheel. All for $5700 and they'll give you 800 back for the core. So it's really on $4900. Plus the new manifolds I'm buying and gaskets. Dealer I bought from is putting it in for $700. Hope this helps. Jasper quoted me at $6500 for engine with $1200 back for the old engine. Ford was cheaper. Best of luck
Thanks bud! So are you doing this yourself or are you under warranty also?

I just bought the truck couple of months ago. And it has no warrenty. So I'm on my own.. but the dealer is being nice and installing for his price. Of $700 compared to the $1800-$2000 I was quoted at.

Nice dude thats awesome! Well good luck with ur truck hope all turns out good for ya! I just hope the dealship im forced to take it to (i live in a small town and its the only one in a 100 mile radius amd i cant afford to have it towed to a different one), gets me a good engine in my truck. They have a bad rep and are notorious for ripping people off and putting in used sub-par parts. I was really hoping i could demand a new motor or atleast a Ford rebuild i dont want them putting some piece of junk engine they buy somewhrre for cheap in my truck. Trying to find out how much ground i have on pushing which motor i want put in it. Thanks again evrryone amd if anyone has any more info itd be greatly appreciated!

Can you purchase a remanufactured engine from ford and have it shipped to that dealership? I'm picking mine up and driving it with my truck to the dealership ship.

Thats a good idea I will contact Ford tomorrow and see if thats an option Id feel much better about purchasing straight from Ford and since it is an extended warranty thru Lincoln/Ford that sounds very plausible. Thank you ill let ya know if that works out

Okay, dealership contacted me and said I spun a bearing. Thats all. They said Ford didnt want them to break the old engine down, just send it in. Ford said I will be getting a remanufactured short block. I have so many questions. First off, about the short block. What exactly does that include? Will have a new oil pump? Wondering because, just based on that they say I spun a bearing, seems like they don't just do that all of the sudden. Something would have had to cause that to happen and they aren't trying to fix the problem, just get it running again and the same thing will happen later on. I know I wont have new manifolds or heads. Should I demand a long block? What causes an engine at only 80000 miles to just, spin a bearing? Just to recap, my symptoms in order where 1)spark plug 5 went out, replaced it and the coil. Then engine would cut out and started to give me low oil pressure. Then all cylinders started misfiring. Engine had problems starting more frequently now and cutting out. Then a loud low end knock arrises on the drivers side and I take it to the shop and they tell my engine is gone. Also it is of note that my engine ever since i purchased it at 66000 seemed to burn a quart or two of oil EVERY oil change. I am very concerned that they are giving me a short block and replacing whats broken but not the problem that caused my last engine to go. I bought new plugs, coils, FPDM, and fuel filter that they are going to change when they put the new short block in. Want to know what I should to ask them to tell them to do. Not comfortable at all with just a short block, doesnt seem like the problem stemmed from that. Thank you all so much you have been so much help!
