Unhappy HELP!! Grinding noise coming from front brakes...

Hi I have an 05 f150 2WD . I recently changed out the pads, like a month ago or so. Everything worked fine no problems up until this morning . I came to a stop with a huge grinding noise. Sounded like a crunching grinding on the front passenger side. Gonna try and look at it after work but can anyone give me a heads up on what to look for or what they think it could be?! Help!

Check the sliders on your calipers.. make sure they aren't seized...

did the caliper bolt fall out? did you torque them to spec? did you loctite the bolts?

Is there a rock between the pads and rotor? Trust me, it sounds like crap!

Smile Thanks!

Thanks guys! By the Ike I looked at it I hadent even checked any of the replys. But number 2 is the winner! Let's say this I'll never have my buddy help me change my brakes. Lol he tool the passenger side. Must not have tightened the bottom caliper bolt all the way so over time it loosened and fell out. So when I hit the brakes the top would lock up and the bottom would swing out and that's where it would hit the inside of the rim and grind the crap out of it. Needless to say, it was a simple fix thank god! Thanks again for the replys!!!
