Default Help with Front Rotors and Brake Pads

Hey guys, my mechanic says I need new front brake pads and rotors. I hear most people went with EBC, but never heard of their feedback on it. I've searched around and could not find a solid thread about this. Where do you guys recommend getting new rotors and brake pads for a good deal? Any suggestions will be appreciated. My truck is 07 F150 Harley Davidson 2wd.

Lol I just made a post about this too. I found these slotted R1 Concepts rotors but I don't know if that's a good brand or not. But I know for a fact I'm buying the hawk pads.. heard nothing but good things about them. I had Duralast rotors and pads and they didn't last long.

Here's the link for the rotors

ebc oem style rotors and hawk ceramic pads a little pricey but its better than changing the pads and rotors every year. i like the combo i went with and the truck stops great no break dust and no problems with this combo.

I just replaced rotors and pads a couple weeks ago from Brake Performance. Very happy so far, no dust, good stopping power and great customer service.

I'll have to check into the R1 rotors. And same here about the hawk pads - nothing but good things about them.

That's the thing that sucks about having a 2wd truck - it costs more.

How long have you had the combo for?

Can you send me a link to that product and how much did it run you?

Why does it cost more for a two wheel drive truck?

Because it's a one-time deal, you cannot re-use the bearing I believe or the middle piece that holds the rotors in. Could be wrong, but that is from what I hear.
