Cool Help** F150 Stx Rear Differential Question

I have a 2005 F150 STX with the 4.6 engine. It's icy outside and when I pressed down on the gas I noticed only my Right rear wheel starts spinning but my Left rear wheel just rolls around with the other 3 wheels. I'm pretty sure I remember being able to spin Both wheels at the same time on gravel. What do you guys think is going on? Could it be related to a 4x4 system issue I might be having? Could it be something with the ABS?
Thanks guys.

Do you have a limited slip differential?
You are perfectly describing an open differentiaL.

open diff...totally normal.

even a limited slip can spin one wheel (don't do it too much cause burning up the clutch will eventualy break spider gear (been there done that))

Look up or post your axle code in the door. It'll be a 2 digit code
