Help Choosing which F150
#32
Bringing up an old thread I know. Ended up that both F150's looked better online. The wife and I had lined up to test drive a Titan and a Ram the same day. Ended up picking up a 2004 CCSB 4x4 Titan with 130K for $9,000.
In retrospect, we impulse bought and shouldn't have! After both F150's were flops we were discouraged and wanted to take a new truck home. Should have held out and kept looking...
Titan has it's good features but everytime I pass an F150 I kick myself. Live and learn I guess!

A little update on my vehicle situation. Ended up selling the Titan to buy my current Duramax, which is actually my old truck. Sold it to a good friend a few years ago to buy our first home, he put it up for sell right after I sold my Titan so I bought it back. Anyways... I always have a nice F150 pictured in the back of my mind and my wife is sick of the Duramax, mostly of me spending money on it. We are looking to get rid of the Duramax and we are set on an F150 this time around. I will be updating this thread with a few of the potential trucks to see what you all think.
A few pictures of my Duramax for fun.
A picture and a few video's before I got my new wheels and tires.

Why sell the government motors coal roller? Looks like you have a truck.

Another year has passed and I messed up, again. We sold the Duramax and 6 months ago I impulse bought a 2008 Silverado 1500. This truck is a junker. I HATE it. Should have bought an F150 instead.
Well, now I am. Finally.
Should be picking it up tonight! It's a 2004 Super Screw Lariat 4x4. Leather, console shifter, rear entertainment package, wheels and tires, tonneau cover, weather tech floor mats etc... Super nice truck. Only 95,000 miles and I am picking it up for $12,400! Pretty excited! Couple pictures.
The Chevy (still have it, trying to sell the damn thing)
The Ford. I love this truck, rides great and has way more get up than the Vortec did.

This is a very entertaining thread.. I'm a bit of an impulse buyer myself. I bought my current 2004 fx4 screw 5.4 on impulse and with a little hesitation but I love it! Still working out out a couple bugs from the lack of maintenance by the previous owner. Just curious what do you not like about your Chevy?
