Default Help!!

Recently my truck has been acting up on me, I wanna say its a transmission issue but I ain't no mechanic. It feels like its jerking when I'm cruising. I can be cruising at any speed and it will jerk on me. Like if its misfiring or down shifting. Its a strange feeling and its starting to make me wonder if i have an expensive repair coming up :/
Has anybody experienced something similar to this?

I bought the truck used, around march 2013, I haven't gotten them checked.

I had a simliar issue. Was my plugs. Actually just did them yesterday. Theres a good write up on here on it. It is basically just removing the PCM to get to the passenger side rear plug and the FPS to get easier access to the drivers side front plug. I gapped them to .045 since the manual calls for .040-.050 so I split the differance. If you have brown boots, you have the 1 piece plugs and if the boots are black, you have the 2 piece plugs (in which case if you do, get yourself get the extractor kit). Torque spec on the plugs are 24 ftlbs. Make sure you get dielectric grease for the boots. I would also replace the fuel filter if you never have/havent for a long time. Those 2 things have my truck running the smoothest it ever has. Hope this helps.

before you go drop big $$$ on COPs and Plugs, i suggest pulling 1 spark plug to see if it is in good condition. If is in good condition, Then I'd run some sea foam through the crankcase, gas tank and throttle body and which will clean it out and see how it runs.

With no codes I don't think its a misfire/plug... just yet. Trouble shoot first and save yourself doing alot of work when it could be something simple.... just my 2 cents i reckon

I appreciate the help guys! I'll apply the seafoam and see how it works, if there isn't any improvements I'll have my mechanic take a look at it.
Thanks a lot guys.

I didn't have a code thrown but my plugs were starting to go out. Maybe just bad enough to make the truck run like crap, but now enough to throw a code. Who knows? But checking the plugs won't hurt like suggested, I would still check the coil connectors too.

The OP mentions a jerking sensation and possible transmission issue but not a miss. I've read on here about issues with the vacuum system causing the front hubs to try and engage. Just throwing another possibility in the mix.
