hello every one, i sure could use some help here,
i have a 2004 f150 4.6 V8 ,
i had a bad #2 coil pack, i parked the truck 3 weeks ago when i bought a new car, the truck started and ran about 2 weeks ago but last night i replaced the bad coil and when i went to start it it wouldn't crank over, jumped it with a running car, still nothing, tried a brand new deep cell battery out of my RV still nothing, checked the fuse #101 for the starter motor, it was fine, also check #102 IGN. run out fuse was ok.. now i could really use some help.. thanks gilby..

Define "nothing":

Does the starter relay kick in?

Sometimes you can get the starter solenoid to engage just by tapping it with a hammer while someone is inside trying to crank it. While you are down there, double check all the connections and grounds to the starter.

If all that fails, remove the starter and take it to a shop to have it tested.

when i bought the truck new it came with a dealer installed alarm system, each one of the remotes lost a button so i thought i by-passed it but i guess when i disconnected the battery the other day it reset the alarm, i found the remotes this morning and pushed the unlock buttom and sure enough.. fired right up,
thanks for everyone's help.. cheers! gilby
