Here's what I passed on to my sons if pulled over...

Pull over
cut your wheel to one side away from the road
Flashers
turn on the interior lights
window down
hands at the wheel, up high

look at the LEO in the eye and follow directions

Part of this was recommended to me many moons ago by a cop
Part of it comes from old procedure entering a military base

The bottom line is that everyone is perceived as a possible threat until found otherwise.
Help the cop understand that you are cooperating and not a threat.

A little bit goes a long way

Same here; the girls in California are into the poofster Porsches and BMWs. No offense to guys that own those cars, but that seems to be the prototype locally and a dramatic contrast from my home State of NC.

My lady likes 4x4s and the cops see enough Ferraris and Vettes to not pay attention to a truck, so I'm good. Best selling vehicle on the planet, so lift and loud exhaust still place it just above low-profile here.

I drive a semi, so I think if a girl wouldn't like my pickup, she'd like the Road Diamond w/the penthouse attached to it

No joking, I went through my limo tint stage in highschool.. Knew a few people who would pass my inspection, got a few tickets and learned my lesson... A windshield just seems like you're begging to get pulled over.. I do like the look of it though, just not worth the hassle

I just have the ghetto strip on the top, and my tint is only at 30%. I have not been pulled over yet. When I was in high school and had to be cool I had top and bottom ghetto strips at 5% limo and only got pulled over once, out of state. Just got a warning. Why do I have the top done? Because the sun flickeringin and out of trees like a strobe light gives me severe head aches. I also am not cool enough for a loud exhaust and don't speed anymore and a ****ty ford truck won't pull girls unless its a diesel.

Haven't gotten pulled over in my truck in a while, but I get pulled over at least once a week if I'm driving the Trans Am. Mostly for no front license plate, but luckily I always get warnings wether for speeding or no plate! 12 yrs w/o a ticket!

I've not gotten pulled over or a ticket in my new F150 yet. It doesn't really stand out yet either except for the exhaust. Cops around here pay more attention to the loudmouth Dodges and chipped diesels. I got a few smoke screening tickets, a speeding ticket, and a noise violation (said my turbo was whistling to loud). I had the smoke screening and noise violation tickets thrown out. I just paid the speeding ticket as it was my own fault.

Hopefully I'll stay clear of any more tickets!
