With the 275 65 17's the speedometer is dead on accurate, and if you should ever have to use the spare (assuming you had the same lt245 70 17's I had as stock tires, you will not blow the limited slip up, or have the ABS go nuts.

Is there a reason for the 7 lug wheels?

the heavy payload F150's have 10.25 inch axle housings, which are much stronger than the rest of the F150 line.

Because the HD package is capable of so much load and tow capacity they use heavy duty steel wheels that won't fail under that much weight. By using 7 lug wheels I think they are preventing us from being able to put crappy wheels on the truck that might not be able to handle the load without failing. No Tire Rack 60 dollar specials allowed.

Why they don't use 8 lug axles is beyond me. If they are strong enough for a F250 then they should work on the F150.

The Centerlines are a forged wheel rated for 3300 pounds, which meets or exceeds the stock wheel spec, and explains why they are 200 bucks plus each.

Question

What denotes the title "Heavy Duty"? How is it different than a regular F150?

Have you had an issues with the 35s rubbing at all? It looks like you just installed a level kit.
