Default Heated seat issues

I have 2005 king ranch. I just bought truck and trying out features. Push the heated seat button. Both little lights light up when u push button but go right off and no heated seats. Same problem on driver and passenger seat. What will cause this. I'm guessing the circuit is getting power because lights flash. Also my driver side electric seat control switch is bad and power pedals do not function. Any help is appreciated. This is my first ever ford. I don't want to get a bad taste for fords. I really enjoy the ride of this truck.

For your seat switch I'd check the fuse first to see if it's good. If it is, I'd pull the switch off the seat and check that you're getting power to that with a multi meter. If not you've got a broken wire. (not likely). If yes, you've got a bad switch (more likely). Hopefully it's just a fuse though.

Can't explain the seat heaters though. They probably have some sort of sensor on them which might be bad.
