My 04 has the sliding rear window and no defroster

We had ice/freezing rain earlier this week. Since this is a new truck (to me) I was playing with the buttons when I was dropping my boys off at school, I opened the back window and it left behind a sheet of ice in it place, at some point, I used the heated mirrors w/o even knowing it.
