Default heater controls

my 05 scab with the same system was doing this same thing. i could not figure it out. then a few weeks later the fan quit on #1 and #2 speed. i replaced the blower resistor, and the a/c light has not come back on. i dont see how it is related or could be a coinsidence.

Ok so today it was acting up again.
One time I hit a bump and the ac light came off with the floor heat on.

Then a few times warm air started blowing out of the center vents with the heater turned off.

No idea whats going on here but its getting annoying.

on these trucks there are no vacuum lines that control the blend door, they are all electric motors. so chances are if you lost the ability to use the floor vents you have a bad motor or fuse.

My floor vents still work though. I do get heat out of them.
