Headlights - Buy aftermarket or repaint OEM?
Im new here and want some black Harley type headlights for my black lariat. I see the ones on ebay are under $100 but Ive bought aftermarket headlights in the past and most are very cheaply made and hard to adjust/dont have adjustment.
I also saw its not real hard to paint the factory ones however I question the paint and if it will flake and or fade.
So whats the best route? Guys with aftermarket lights which ones did you go with and why? How are they holding up?
Painters have you noticed any flaking or fading? Did you sand prior to paint or just clean and prep?

here are mine
I got these of ebay for 80 bucks, i like them alot better than the harley lights because they have a clear corner. they fit perfect and adjusted just fine.

are the lenses equal to the factory ones in terms of strength/material? the reason I ask is because my past aftermarket headlights appear ot me cheaper softer plastic and take rock chips much worse.
I like the clear corners also but I dont want a quality trade off
