Headlight Housing???
I recently switched my passenger headlight housing for my 2006 F150 Lariat with one from a 2008 f150 xl or xlt.
The problem is that the low beam is aimed right, but when I switch to high, the beam is too low and scattered. I thought the 2006 and 2008 headlight housings were the same.

They should be the same unless you have different bulbs in them. Have you reaimed them after the swap? See if the lights hit your gerage door at the same height, only thing I can think of is that the light is misaimed and it may be hard to notice on low with it on the passsenger side.

I switched the bulb from one side to the other and POOF....the problem was on the other side as well. I know now that it is the bulb and not the housing and a trip to the parts store is in my future.
Thanks for the quick response!!!

Does anyone know if you can make horizontal aiming corrections and how? I found and used the vertical stud on the housing, but could not find a way to make the light adjust side to side.

Just found out, no horizontal adjustments "should" be needed so there is not one. I would just like the passenger side to aim more to the right, oh well. They work fine so that is okay...
