I'm going to buy a 04 to 07 f150 within a few months and I'm looking up good bolt on mods. Headers and exhuast is a big one for me. Every shorty header set up I look at says no EGR. My questiong is, does the EGR bolt into the pipe further down or do I have to modify the headers and put in the EGR.

if you just want sound, go with shorties. if you want the power and spend less money, go with the pacesetter long tubes. theyre only about $300. with shorties, you will not get any more power at all. they do require exhaust modifications but if your doing the whole exhaust setup anyways, your better off getting the entire exhaust done at one time.

No, pacesetters are horrible. The metal is to weak and they burn out, they can't disperce the heat well enough. Thats what happened on my last Ford. Plus long tube makes up Torque on the Low end. The new F150's have all the low end I need. The trucks need assistance on the high end, which is what shorties do. I do like JBA, do you have a modle # for the ones with the EGR application. I can't find it on there website.
