What are the best LT headers for my 2005 fx4 5.4. Any help would be nice.

Bump
Stainless works, but they are pricey.
Whicheverother brand, I would get a ceramic coating.
Look up stainless works in the vendor section. I have read the install is a
B***h for any brand.

Have you heard anything about PaceSetters? Ive read multiple things about them, im not trying to spend an arm and a leg, Im just trying to replace the stock manifolds because, as usual, they are cracked. Figured I would put some long tubes on and upgrade a bit.

what does "best" mean? You looking for peak power (ie. dyno queen)? Pulling torque? High-rpm torque? Durability? Aesthetics? Quiet? Loud? Cheap? Expensive? Easy to install? See where I am going? There is no such thing as best. Everything is a compromise, you need to find out what is important to you. Then maybe you can get some more focused feedback.

I recently bought a set of JBA long tube Headers (6676SJT) and a Mid-Pipe (6676SY) to bolt on to my factory exhaust on my 2008 F150 5.4L with 60k miles. I recently got a leak on my passenger side exhaust manifold. I'm going long tube because I'm building my truck, next I'm doing the exhaust and a programmer. If I was just making it simple to fix the leak I would just buy a set of shortys to put on there. I've done a ton of research and for the money JBA ($700) is the best deal. Cheap ones were pacesetter ($300) and high end ones were Stainless works ($1500). I ordered them in the end of May and JBA is having a hard time keeping up with the demand so they are not shipped out yet. They are supposed to be to my house by the end of July. My advice is don't settle for something if you really don't want it, best bet is to save up and get what you want and have no regrets.

You can check Fleabay for a set of long tube headers that come with the mid pipe, Ive seen a few in the $500-700'ish range. Ask them to send you pics of how the flanges bolt up for insurance, reason I say this was I purchased some off brand header kit and there was no way in hell that the header would bolt to the mid pipe, I would have had to cut both components, weld and install as one full unit.
