Default head swap

hey guys, im not all up on the mechanics of the f150 4.6 and the mustang 3v 4.6, but i was thinking, is it possible to sawp the heads. i know there would be more involved aside form just the heads, prop the timing chains also, but i was just wondering

The 3v has VCT, you'd have to have the new electronics as well.

Variable cam timing can be locked out with a tune (mine is locked out on my mustang), but I'm not sure the bolt patterns are the same between the two blocks.

yea if the heads fit, and i can bypass this vct or whatever with a tune, im totally down for a 3 valve 4.6l

does anyone know if anyone has done or at least attempted this??
