Default Have a level, wanting some blocks in the back

Ok guys no pics on here but should be some good ones in my profile. I have a 2wd lariat. I tossed on a 2.5 level when i got the damn thing almost 4 years ago. 3.5 years ago I got 265/70/18s (roughly 33s) that really filled the wheel wells nicely. I replaced my struts 2500 miles ago or so and they've settled since they haven't sagged any more in the past 2 weeks. So now basically my front end is about 3/4" higher in the front than the back and it used to be about 1/4". So basically my truck is sitting like it has a 3" level. I've noticed it looks a little squatty in the back so I want to boost it up. I can't decide if I should go 1.5, 2, or 2.5". I'm not obsessed with having a perfectly level truck. I wan't it to look more natural since my rear bumper gets brought down by the level. What would y'all do? I really just can't make up my mind!!

The factory rear block on the 4x4 version is 1.5' yours may have it take a look, It depends how bad of a sag we need a pic hard to tell with your profile pics.

I believe that since you had to lift the front, the factory 1.5 block is in the rear possibly. You probably will want to bump that to a 2 if its barely off, 2.5 if its sagging pretty good and you like the factory look with the back a little higher

I wouldn't call it a huge sag, its just an effect created by my level. I definitely have no block.

Best pic I got right now and its pre-strut-replacement, will get a rear 3/4 view in the daylight tomorrow

I'd say that my bumper is now roughly an inch to an inch and a half lower than stock. If I do a 1.5 I'll get bumper to slightly above stock 2wd, a 2 will get me probably to stock 4wd height or a little extra, and 2.5 would take me at least an inch over stock 4wd height.

If my assumptions are correct, the 4wd is 1 inch taller up front than stock 2wd? So a 2" block would put me at roughly a 4wd with a 2 inch level and a slightly taller block? That would allow for just a little bit of rake, but will still look after market…?? Or should I go 1.5 and look like a 4wd with only a 2" level? I don't even know if the half inch is worth considering. Really looking for opinions from anyone or advice from people who have done it.

And if you upgraded the front struts its probably picking it up some for sure. Im guessing you got the 2wd version strut. The 4x4 one is like 2 inches taller or something

But yours being a 2wd, Make sure it has the blocks in the rear first. Most dont if im thinking right, if it does pull them out and replace with a 2"

Oh man thats literally dead on what mine looks like! did your throw a block back in? If so, was it a 2"? After pics?

I have no block I'm 100% sure. Maybe the tow package 2wd's had them but either way I don't.

Mine was dead level with no blocks. Thats the 4x4 strut helping me out tho. I got a 3" front and back leveling kit now, but when i got the truck i guess one of the rear blocks fell out of the bed when we removed the farm diesel tank he had cuz i couldnt find it but i still have the other.

As she sits now, my rear is just a touch higher than the back

Thanks you've been a huge help. I'm going to go with the 2" to retain the aftermarket look but to take away the squat!

Great looking truck by the way, especially for 205k!

Just take a tape measure, Measure the front wheel well gap. Then go to the back and see how many inches its off

Alright front is 3/4 taller than the rear. I went with the 2 inch so back end should be an inch and some change higher, so shouldn't look too off-level. I think it'll be like a 4wd with a 2 inch level once I account for spring sag and the height gained by the new coilovers/struts.

Blocks come in friday. I'll probably knock them out sunday over a 6 pack with a buddy, will try to take some pics and post a writeup since I haven't found ideal instructions on here yet. I'm hoping 1-1.5 hrs!

It's easy man. Set the e brake. Do one side at a time. Take u bolt off. Jack it up by the leaf itself (front side of axle so you can work) . Slide block into the alignment pins. Let her down put the u bolts back on. Get em tight. Id recommend new ones tho I had to grind 2 of mine off them basard are a pain if they won't turn easy.
