Hey guys, I have a 2005 f150 with the 4.6L V8 a d if I don't turn overdrive off, when I hit the gas the engine just revs and then finally engages and kicks bad any suggestions on what it could be?

transmission is slipping. Better take it to a drivetrain shop unless you are comfortable working on it yourself.

Thanks man! Ill have to take it in I guess, it was just in the shop because a head was blown, will this problem get any worse if I keep driving it like this? Or do I have time to get it fixed

It will continually get worse. Best to have a pro take a look at it and give you some options.

Sounds like you'll be looking at a rebuild. How many miles?

only 91,000 on it...
