Air tools? Candy . Lol. Just get some beer muscles. I just ripped my whole truck down this weekend to swap out my coils, took me just over an hr, and that included unmounting/mounting the tires, and of course a few

i like the feel stuff with hand tools, its too easy to strip or cross thread or twist a bolt of with air tools, if i do use air tools its just to tear down, not to put it back together

I am the same way my friend. I guess we share the same passion for our machines. I too only use the impact when tearing down. Or if I have a super long bolt I will run it in and finish it off with a socket. I hate I mean fuggin hate stripped bolts. It also takes longer and gives me an excuse to play around in the garage.

Ok, talked me into it! Thanks for the info. I'll post pics when I get done. Probably this weekend during the upper 50's and lower 60's.

I did a 3" and it was very simple. I would say 20 min a side, I did it with no help (air tools). I would think if you had a buddy to hold, push , pull you could knock 5 min a side off.

If I can do it, anybody can do it I had my bf help me get the lugs off, and untighten some bolts- but other than that, it was very simplistic. The directions are pretty straightforward

Am I going to be OK with a standard depth 21mm 1/2" drive socket for the upper ball joint nut, or do I need a deep one?
