Harsh Downshift uphill 3-2
I've searched and searched, but cannot find a definite answer.
I have a 2004 lariat 2WD. 71K on the odo. Harsh downshift from 3-2 when going uphill. Happens when I let off the gas and give it a go again. it does not happen when I take it off O/D, which I find odd.
I have owned this truck for almost 2 years, got it with 59K. Ive read somewhere to get it flashed, brought it in the ford dealership paid 100, and even brought a copy of a TSB I found to reflash it. Still did off the lot. Some say it's normal, which I highly doubt. Im sure you f150 vets here have read about this. I asked a Tech at Ford, if I chaged the plugs, if it will help, and they said my mileage is still low.
Any answers from those who have had similar issues would be greatly appricated.
