Harmonic balancer bolt. Torque specs
I think I screwed the pooch here. I bought my new bolt and tightened it to 88ft/pounds. I didn't realize I was probably looking at the ARP spec. I never did the ford spec thing. Should I just order an ARP bolt?
This is what I should of done. Damn! I was looking up the specs on my phone and must of read the wrong thing
Vibration damper-to-crankshaft bolt
1996 .................................................. .............114 to 121
1997 and later
Step 1................................................. .........66
Step 2................................................. .........Loosen one full turn
Step 3................................................. .........36
Step 4................................................. .........Tighten an additional 90-degrees
