Fire extinguisher, tie downs, tow straps, first aid kit, flashlight, blanket, jumper cables. And some basic tools.

Also some spare parts, like an ignition coil and an FPDM.

Here's what's in my tool chest in the bed: fully stocked tool box, including zip ties, duct tape, gloves, shop towels, rubber bands, then I have a compressor, jumper cables, tow chains, jumper battery box, tow strap, d-rings, 100ft of rope, tie downs, fuses, a lot of flashlights/worklights, military folding shovel, regular shovel (short version), tire pressure gauge, power inverters, first aid kit. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but you get the idea. When I'm offroading I have a tote I pack with me that's full of spare parts. Also bring two 5 gallon dump cans full of gas. In the interior I have a fire extinguisher on quick release mount and a vhf radio.

Best tip by far. I spilled a chick-fil-a milkshake on myself in the truck the other day...no napkins..... needless to say it was a traumatizing experience
