Yeah, the installer set it up so that the alarm sets the horn off as well as a 'typical' alarm sound that sounds at the same time. Needless to say, it is very loud and he set it up so both would go off so that if broken into the thief would have to not only disengage the alarm sound, but also the horn sound. Also, when this horn/alarm goes off, my LCD flashes and beeps concurrently as well to let me know that it is going off.

The remote start will come in handy and you will love the range of the system.

I have a Compustar alarm/remote system on my truck and it has actually saved me a break-in a couple of times. Definitely one of the best mods I've done to the truck.

i have this same alarm installed on my truck! its pretty awesome! i definately enjoy it. the lcd is pretty awesome but it takes out batteries so fast! the two way alerts are awesome and the sensitivity can be set to ridiculous settings (to where when i close my front door too hard the alarm goes off). it's really cool for the remote start feature too! the only thing i dislike about it is the fact that if you don't mash down the buttons... it'll sometimes say you have no signal.... no big deal though just hit the buttons the right way lol

its a really good investment though (especially for half price!!)

Awesome Dre!!!!

And thanks for making your mod list longer than mine now.....lol /k bud. I had a Viper remote start on my Malibu and it cost me right at $600 out the door and I loved it. I used it more than I thought I ever would.

Can't go wrong with DirectedElectronic products!!!!!

Thanks guys,
Yeah, it really does come in handy and I am loving it so far. For those of you on the fence, I would definately lay down the cash and get yourself one. Besides ofcourse the awesome security increase factor, it is just really plain flippin' sweet!

Although I must admit that I am jealous of your blue colored Viper WhiteChrystal!
