Here's my '08 FX4 that I just bought last weekend. It's got the optional Ford 20" wheels on it and a 2.5" leveling kit on the way. The new Magnaflow exhaust went on today.

3" body or leveling kit? The general feeling on this board is that a 3" leveling kit is too much and it'll wear out ur suspension. I like all the xd series wheels what size u going with?

i was actually looking at the 2 or 2.5 leveling kit, and going with the 20" chrome diesel's with the black ring!! and not sure if i should use a 33 or 35" tire??!! Does anyone make a 3" lift or anything smaller than a 6"?? Main reason i dont want to go to a 6 is cause im a cabinet installer and getting cabinets and my tools up and down all time seems like it would be a pita!!!

If you go with a leveling kit you will more than likely have problems with those wheels and 35s. 33s should be fine but in order to get 35s with those wheels you will more than likely need a full suspension lift.

I think rancho makes a 4" suspension lift but i think you can clear 33's with a 2.5" leveling kit and that's going to be a lot cheaper.
