Mine did when my guide broke I know it's a long throw without a guide but was ticking before, but my full flomaster exhaust masked the sound pretty good.

Clogged cat or bad O2 sensors.

Why dont you go to a mechanic......................? The code you posted is for the cats, did you not read my links? You are all over the place with your "self" diagnosis.

I agree. After reading the responses and the continuing change of "self" diagnosis, I gave up with this thread.

I'd say your motor is toast. Must be all that detonation clogged your cats and cooked your oil pump. Sorry for the bad news...

I'm lost with it that's why I'm jumping all over the place sorry. I am taking to a mechanic tomorrow to see what they can figure out and *** rape me on. Oh well carry on.

And yes I read the tags you linked and it was helpful I just cleared the codes and moved on hasn't popped another cel since. I replaced the vct's and gaskets yesterday as well. I was just curious about the oil cap and with truck running I wasn't seeing oil splashing up the neck it was an observation not a self diagnosis. I won't ask anymore questions.
