Default Guys I need help asap

Okay cold start I take my truck down the road I pull out on the highway get up to speed as I do I'm hearing a metallic sound from the engine like nails in a coffee can, I let out of the gas it goes away get back in it it comes back if the trans shifts to a higher gear and I lay in it the noise gets worse but once the truck warms up it goes away for the most part, except if im pulling a trailer with weight on it then the noise is present most of the time. What am I hearing. I will post a short video concentrate after you hear my turn signal go off as my rpm climbs will post video shortly

Are you sure it's coming from the engine . Noise does not occur when engine is warm? Hmm.
Is your truck 4x4?

I've done everything but replace the timing components if that's whats wrong then I'm selling it not sinking 3k in timing and labor when it has 171k on it I will trade it in for a newer 5.0 fx4

I figure with as much noise as I'm hearing the knock sensors would pick up on it unless they malfunctioning. If it's "hubs" why does pulling a trailer make it worse? If that's the case.

So you think timing stuff. Why did ford stick such crap in these engines. I mean how much does it cost to replace the timing components with labor. Rough figure

I just read $2300 from another post. Parts are about 700-800 alone. I have a buddy that just did his (he is a mechanic for the Postal Service and has years of experience). He told me $1200 total if I ever need mine done. Said he would be done in a weekend.
